Skyward has now added salary adjustment type codes to be added to Add-on codes, which fixes the state reporting issues that previously existed.
1.In order to utilize this new feature you will go into ADD-ON codes and add salary adjustment state codes to HE code and E code:

Once added, you would then add evaluation scores as you would always do within Skyward, Once new evaluations are added you will run TWO utilities that exist under plan process in Employee administration. The first utility is highlighted in green (Use add-on to report performance pay/Create performance pay add-ons from Personnel evals) This will create add-ons with the coinciding code by looking at Teacher evals. So the system is smart enough to add the correct code based on evals that you have added and your parameters selected..
4. The next and final step is to "update previous year add-ons to fixed amount" this is currently not available at the moment but should be when it comes time to do this process. This utility should take previous years add-ons with the new state code and move them to a prior year without a state code. In doing this it will no longer be reported to DOE as a salary adjustment as it shouldn't. It should now be looked at in the system as a base amount that combines into the base salary.
